Our
hub motors are not recommended
for bikes with front shock
forks, or bikes with front
aluminum forks. Shock
forks can flex too much,
and aluminum forks are
generally not strong enough
to handle the hub motor
torque - breakage can
occur. Also many suspension
forks are not wide enough
to accomidate the width
of the hub motor.
Hub
Motor dimensions -
Front forks must be at
least 4" wide.
Motor measures - 7 1/2"
diameter
Maximum motor RPM = 322
To
determine the size of
the wheel you need for
your bike, do NOT measure
your rim. The wheel size
is the rim with the tube
and tire installed and
inflated. Look on your
bicycle tire for the wheel
size. It should read something
like this: 1.75 (width)
X 26 (diameter). This
would mean you have a
26" bike.
